Happy New Year! Its 2015!!! Let’sjump start things! FREE GIFT, read on to find out how!

Finally feeling a bunch better from having had pneumonia over the holidays! Lol, so you mean to tell me that I can’t over-work, over-workout, not sleep & stress without getting sick!?! Well, what can I say, I guess I’m a great advice giver, but following it….is a WHOLE other thing lol. Its ok, I am getting my strength back in the gym and attempting to sleep more…if I could, I would. Hashimotos makes sleeping restfully (without help) impossible.

Hopefully you guys were able to enjoy some time off with the family/friends?! I still saw some of my fam which was nice. Made an INCREDIBLE XMAS eve dinner…every year I make an Italian dish for Christmas since everyone’s burned out of Turkey (not me though, I made a FANTASTIC turkey on NYE with mashed garlic cauliflower & haricoverts)

What did I make? I made an incredible cranberry kale salad, butternut squash soup, homemade meat ravioli’s, and for dessert-poached pears MMMMM. Delish

So this is an example of an indulgent meal made health’ier’. PORTION CONTROL IS EVERYTHING!!!

(Super easy & fast!)
Kale Salad with warm Cranberry dressing

You’ll need:
1 bunch of organic Kale
3 tbsp. olive oil
salt/pepper to taste
1 bag fresh cranberries
1/2 c sliced almonds
2 tbsp. honey
3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 shallot diced
3 clove garlic
Stevia leaf sweetener
Juice & zest of half a lemon

(To prep Kale, you’ll need to cut into thin strips add some olive oil & SP to taste and massage it gently for about 1-2 minutes**trust me, do this & you’ll fall in love with Kale)

-Heat 2 tbsp olive oil on medium, add shallot & sauté for 5 min or until tender, add garlic sauté for 1 more min. then add cranberries, vinegar, honey, lemon juice & zest, sweetener-stir to combine. -Reduce to med low heat & cover, stir occasionally for 5 min. (fresh cranberries will start popping open, its ok
-In large bowl, toss kale with dressing & Almonds….serve & enjoy!

(If you can’t find fresh cranberries, you can get dried but make sure there is NO sugar added)

Brianna’s Butternut Squash Soup **LOVE THIS!

What you’ll need:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 package organic butternut squash (Costco’s is a great value) about 3 1/2 cups-more is ok
3/4 c chopped or pre-shredded carrot
half of a sweet onion chopped
2.5 c of low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 c plain fat free yogurt
1/4 tsp salt

-heat olive oil in large sauce pot, add squash, carrot & onion, sauté for about 12 min, add chicken broth & bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat & let simmer for 30 min. Remove from heat, add salt & yogurt-transfer mixture to a blender-carefully-its hot!
-remove center piece of blender lid (to allow steam to escape) place a clean towel over opening & gently blend going up in level until mixture is smooth.
-Serve and enjoy!

(If I gave you my homemade ravioli recipe, I’d have to kill you…so if you’re lucky enough to be family or friends that eat it, bravo lol! Maybe one of these days I’ll come up with a cookbook & then divulge my secrets!)

Garlic Mashed Cauliflower **I promise its as good as mashed potatoes but won’t have you feeling sluggish!

You’ll need:
1 cauliflower head
1/2 package of greek yogurt cream cheese
1/2-3/4c Fat free milk
4 clove garlic
1 tsp garlic salt
pepper to taste

-steam cauliflower until soft, add to a food processor or blender (if it fits-you can smash it down) add milk, greek yogurt cream cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, blend until smooth (adjust amount of milk, less if you want thicker, more thinner)
-Enojoy…Everyone DIED over this side dish at my house…they all wanted more!

If you want to compliment your healthy eating habits, you really need to get UP and get active! As I said, Baby steps…you don’t have to be an extremist like some people I know (ME! hehe!) but you do need to push yourself to get it together. You’re the only one that can change. As the saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over, expecting different results! So be the best you that you can be! We all need to set goals for ourselves. Start with something where there is an end date, where you can really be proud of your accomplishments & possibly treat yourself to something great. A spa day perhaps? A new outfit to compliment your hot body?! Then get it back together and set a NEW goal. You should always be trying to be better.

A sample beginner workout, its actually what I have been doing after being so weak from pneumonia to get back into it without killing myself.

Some supplements to consider: Glutamine! I use a great powder form https://primenutrition.com/precision-series/glutamine Its affordable & works….it will help combat your sore muscles & help you recover faster. Amino acids, http://primenutrition.com/catalog/product/view/id/60/s/eaas/category/6/  drink while you workout will help your muscles grow faster (ladies, growth doesn’t necessarily mean bulk! You rip apart your muscles when you workout & they regrow stronger after during recovery!)

OK, I PROMISE YOU CAN DO THIS! This is a really good way to get the ball rolling after it dropped! You WILL be sore, but in as little as two weeks you WILL see a difference. After one month it will get easier to do, do this for 3 months and tweet me your before & after progress-with dates! If you show me your progress, I will send you a FREE gift special from me! Let’s get this shit crackin peeps! I am here for you. Good luck and again, Happy New Year!

Quality of life, it starts with YOU!

I say it every year but can you believe how quickly the year passes by? When I was a little kid & longed to be a grown up, all of the adults around me would say, “Don’t rush it, when you get our age, it goes by too fast!” and boy were they right! Wow…that just means that our time here is limited and we have to really make the most of it. Accomplish your goals, set new ones and strive to be a better person every single day. I am not perfect and don’t pretend to be, but really try hard to improve my inner self always. It is a lot easier to be negative and to give in to all of the stresses around us, its easy to be depressed and to place blame on everyone else. The hard part is to force yourself to be the best you can be and look at yourself only for change. No one else is in charge of your life but YOU!

Most of you know about my thyroid health issues.  I have seen so many doctors, spend tens of thousands of dollars uninsured and battled with the insurance to cover while I was insured. I have been on many different trial medications and I cannot lie, its been the hardest thing I have been through. After you have seen over a dozen doctors, specialists and tried every medication available and nothing works, and you get worse, its quite defeating. I kind of let my disappointment take over for the last few months as it gets increasingly harder to control the things out of my control. For those of you that do not follow me consistently, I have Hashimotos disease, an auto-immune disease that attacks your thyroid.  The symptoms that have been really tough for me especially being in the public eye are weight gain, skin issues-acne & eczema, mood swings-depression, hot/cold bouts, dizzy/fainting spells, vertigo….ETC. So when you add trial medication that makes those things worse, not better, its pretty disheartening.

Through my journey, I have learned a LOT! I have always trusted my instincts but have really honed in on them, switching docs when I am not confident in their ability or willingness to help me.  The last doc I had started to imply that it was my lifestyle and inability to stick to the meds that were creating more issues for me. UM NO! I workout daily, know exactly what to do in the gym and although I allow myself an occasional indulgence (Christmas cookies right now lol), I never over do it & know the proper ways to take care of my body starting from what I eat. I also made sure that the stress of all of my jobs do not get in the way of me being a balanced person, incorporated YIN & meditation which has helped de-stress tremendously. So when the meds made me vomit, so dizzy I crashed my car into my own truck, couldn’t sleep, etc, I called the Dr office and let them know I was discontinuing. You cannot be afraid or allow other people, even people that are supposed to know what’s best for your body, bully you into continuing to do what you think is harmful. YOU have to take charge of your health and well being, no one else will care as much as you do! Truth.

So my last ditch effort to find a doctor in Las Vegas brought me to the woman I met a week and a half ago. An internist-not even an endocrinologist (thyroid specialist), who is younger than the old farts I’ve been seeing, understands the struggles of being a woman and being in the public eye AND she has hypo-thyroidism (a lesser form of hashimotos). She took a LOT of time with me, she made me feel comfortable and gave me realistic expectations. Change will not happen overnight, but over the course of the next 8 months to a year, I will start feeling like my old self again. I found a newly refreshed outlook on everything and feel myself coming out of my depression. I am really excited to have been able to start turning around my attitude and am grateful-SO very grateful for the inner strength I have had my entire life.

I guess the reason I am letting you all in on this very personal struggle of mine is to show you that although I am put on a pedestal and in the public eye, I am also human and have struggles and things I go through just like you do. I also know that there are MANY people out there suffering with things that are similar and are not sure what to do or who to trust to help. For about 5 years before I was diagnosed with Hashimotos, I knew that I wasn’t right inside…Every doctor I saw said, “You’re too young to have hormone issues” or “You just need to change your diet” or “Its all in your head” I knew that I wasn’t 100% and could feel better, have a better quality of life.  So its been a real goal of mine for years that I have been actively pursuing for a long long time. Ups and downs have lead me here. Nothing is perfect and never will be, but my outlook is positive.

This is the main reason I have had less live shows lately-not to mention that its increasingly more difficult to carry all of my bills, so I have to work more and more and more…So to answer the Question from last weeks blog, YES, all archives will transfer over to the new site. I will also be doing bi-monthly shows so we can all keep in touch personally ;o) Now is the best time to join in the fun, Next show will be this week or next! Stay tuned on twitter for the exact date/time. http://www.twitter.com/brianna_jordan and my website as you all know is the best place to see me live http://www.briannajordan.com

I DO schedule private chats however, they are very expensive, I treat them like you are meeting me one on one-which I also offer to a VERY select few.

So to end this blog, if you don’t feel quite right, you don’t trust your doctor or a loved one is experiencing something, do not be afraid to speak up & make changes. YOU control your life, no one else will care enough to. YOU are in charge of your happiness, so make the most of it.

Love, hugs, kisses & more….

PS. For those sweet generous people that are asking what I want underneath my Christmas tree? Here are some things I have selected and need:

Everything you send me earns you a gift back, no matter how big or small. The gift backs are determined by the purchase price of your gift to me though ;o)

So boys & girls, FINALLY some fantastic news if you were or are a member of Http://www.BriannaJordan.com I have teamed up with a PROFESSIONAL team that is going to assist in the re-design & re-launch of my website. It took some time to find someone in this industry that had a good reputation and that is someone I know I will work well with. To be honest, most of what you all see is FAKE! Most girls in the business could give 2 shi*s about their members and fans and don’t care at all what happens to them. I on the other hand have a great deal of care & consideration that goes into everything that I do. I had to wait until I knew that you would all be taken care of as website members, so thank you all for your patience. And those that just couldn’t wait, it will definitely be in your best interest to join #TeamBrianna once again!
The re-design & re-launch will take approximately 2-3 months. I have a TON of content that they have to log which takes a lot of time, so patience is the key here. We will most likely have some snags along the way, but I have full faith that this team will succeed in a timely manner & stay professional.
What you can expect as a member: At this time we are working with our current billing company, ccbill to ensure that all of your memberships are transferred over without you having to do anything at all. If this changes, I will personally email you to let you know.
You may see some duplicate content, that is because the old galleries that are in Part I, II & III will be re-released to be a full gallery.
You will be seeing me LIVE at a minimum of twice monthly-my schedule will still be all over the place as my other businesses have me running around like a mad-woman 110% of the time, they pay my bills, so unless you are willing to send me a huge chunk of change (ex, I just paid out over 25k-n ot 2500, thousand bro) yesterday in only a PORTION of my bills)-don’t complain! Lol! You can see my schedule changes on twitter, so I suggest you start following me now & check for updates regularly. Most schedule changes will be last minute although I try to give as much notice as possible. (click the bird!)
Brianna on Twitter!

I will have weekly blogs, weekly photo/video releases, behind the scenes and candid photos of my real life, along with a possible few scheduled public appearances. All of which will be posted on my twitter and INSTAGRAM. Make sure to follow me at both locations ;o)
Remember that if YOU want to see me in person, you can contact me to set something up. Questions; email me at Brianna@briannajordan.com
Until next time, xxoo

Don’t ruin your progress by going buckwild during the Holidays!

How crazy that the holidays are fast approaching! Turkey Day is THIS WEEK! and Xmas is around the corner. It’s time to start preparing ourselves for the holiday food. Just like we prepare our weeks in advance, having a plan during the holidays is just as important….if not more!

Tis the season where junk food is everywhere! We are tempted at work, home, friends, and just about everywhere we go. This can make it harder to stick
to your workout routine and eating schedule -but not if you are prepared and have a set plan!

Can you eat a little of your fav holiday goodies?? If you have been exercising and eating healthy so far this year, F**k ya!!! You CAN indulge A LITTLE.

Here are a few things you can do to make the Holidays have less of an impact on your pant size!

Get up and GO! Getting it over with early means that you’re less likely to blow it off later and you’ll feel better about having a bite or two of your favorite holiday treats. The holidays bring a lot of uncertainty to
your schedule, so it’s best to get it done early! If you can’t make it
to the gym or your gym is closed, a simple indoor or outdoor circuit
workout can help!

Sample workout:

5-minute warm up: jumping jacks, jump rope or running in place (be sure to actually time yourself to keep it honest ;o)

20 reps of the Following:

• Jump Squats (be careful to land on the balls of your feet 1st and control your landing-don’t pound)
• Push Ups (if your wrists are sensitive with this, grab onto 2 cans of food or similar-one in ea hand)
• Planks with a twist (holding plank, reach one arm to opposite side of the body-switch)
• Walking Lunges
• Burpees with the jump up
• Toe Touch crunches
• Tricep dips with a chair or table
 Repeat 3-4 times

For cardio, you can do simple Sprints, run as fast as you can for 30 seconds, walk back & repeat for a total of 10 times.

You can jump up on anything outdoors, be creative

Don’t go to big holiday meals
on an empty stomach. Eat a light healthy snack before going to family
dinners or holiday parties. It sounds funny to eat before you go, but being hungry when you arrive can lead you to eat too much, too fast.
Also you know how it is, waiting for everyone to arrive and for the food
to be finished cooking, you could be waiting hours before you eat!

So be prepared and eat something before you head out the door! I always drink a protein shake or bar (I like quest cookie dough bars or Oh Yeah low carb Shakes) and grab a handful of nuts before leaving for any event.

Do not eat less during the day to bank your calories for dinner. So many
people try to work out more and eat less in order to bank their
calories for later, but this is NOT the smartest approach. First of all, you want to keep your metabolism going,
so you need to start with your breakfast and eat every two to three
hours. In order to be able to burn off that Thanksgiving
food, you need your metabolism to be on point.

If you wait to eat until Thanksgiving dinner, you will be absolutely
starving and eat more than if you were to have been
eating on your normal schedule! Not to mention, if you slow your
metabolism down from not eating throughout the day, your body will start storing those extra cals for later-turning them into fat! NOT what you want!

One of my FAMOUSLY moist & tasty turkeys

Look closely at what’s being offered, pick a couple of your
favorite high-calorie options and have a small-and I mean SMALL serving of each.

Most drinks have TONS
of sugar & calories. Go for the clears (e.g., vodka) with a no-calorie mixer
(e.g., seltzer water or diet soda) or a glass of wine, but avoid egg nog martinis etc!

Often you think you are hungry when really you are just dehydrated! A lot of holiday food may have extra sodium, so drink your water! Try for at least half your weight in ounces.

For every glass of alcohol you have, have a glass of water. This will
help keep you hydrated and often leads to less liquor intake.

LIMIT SUGARS (my biggest problem during the holidays!)
We indulge ourselves by eating way too many sweets during the
holidays. We either use this as an excuse or possibly a
subconscious way to deal with the normal stress of the holidays.
Remember that eating healthy foods will give you energy, keep you
feeling great and help keep you healthy at the same time. Pick and
choose your sweets and ask yourself, “Is it worth it?” or “Am I going to feel guilty later??!!

If you want dessert, account for it and don’t feel guilty! Portion control is
key here. If you know you want something after dinner, maybe have less mashed potatoes and stuffing and save a small about of
room for something small and sweet. My thought is, if it was bought at Albertsons, I’m gonna pass, but if it was Grandma that slaved away baking all
day, give it a taste or two!

Definitely made with love 🙂

This is one day I would not recommend you bring your own protein. There will be plenty of turkey— just go for mostly light white meat over the dark meat.

It is easier to control a meal if you are the one hosting, making it
easy for you to use healthier alternatives in your cooking. This is something I pride myself in doing, so if you are hosting the holidays, it’s a great way
to show people how tasty healthy food can be. If you’re cooking, be sure to make choices that can easily substitute for the
“real deal.” I usually make 2 of the same thing, one traditionally unhealthy and one healthy substitute, the healthy sub usually gets devoured 1st-I swear lol!

• Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and mayonnaise in mashed potatoes, coleslaw, egg salad, tuna salads and other cold salads.
• Cauliflower mashed potatoes for real potatoes OR Plain Yogurt for half and half.
• Apple sauce for butter and oils in baked goods
• Natural sugars-stevia instead of a bunch of sweet white sugar

Whether you are hosting or attending try to stick with the healthier offerings; veggie trays, nuts, smoked salmon etc.

Get out and get moving after your holiday meal. Going for a walk
will burn a few extra calories and more than anything, make you feel
better to get out and move! You can also stay active & burn cals WITH your family & friends by getting outside & playing some ball…the family that is active together-LIVES LONGER & happier lives ;o)

No matter how much or how little you had, the key is jumping right back
on your plan the next meal and the next day. If you make an effort to
jump right back on your healthy eating program, you won’t have setbacks on the scale!

If you just stay active and make smart nutritional choices, you will get through the holidays guilt free! It’s all
about prepping yourself for whatever comes your way. Plan
and prep and you’ll stay on track.

Sample of my weekly prepped meals-No excuses

Cheers! Here is to a happy and healthy holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, remember that while we are reminded during this time of year to be grateful for our lives blessings, carry that into the rest of the year, pass it on & be happy.

Healthy body. Happy tummy.

You all know that I pride myself in being a great cook but I am also really health conscious. The best way to have the best of both worlds in having a healthy lifestyle but enjoying the food that you make is to make some of your favorite things a lot healthier. The more we start paying attention to what we ingest, the better we will feel day in and out. For some of us, its a big adjustment but I always recommend to beginners, baby steps! Don’t just quit everything cold turkey, you won’t last very long. Back in the day when I first tasted whole wheat pasta, I almost spit it out! It was so gross and cardboardy to me! Now that I know what to expect AND have found the best quality brands/products, its a lot easier to stick with.

So to start with the MAIN thing you should really take notice of when trying to cut back is what you are intaking on a daily basis. Start by writing down each thing that you eat or drink, be sure to write down the portion size (weigh it or measure it out), the time and include anything you use like butter-salt-oil etc. You will be shocked to find out how many empty calories/sugar etc are in what you are eating.

There are also a LOT of misleading advertising ploys to get us to think we are buying healthier foods “FAT-FREE” “SUGAR-FREE” “LOW-FAT” all quickly come to mind. I have been fooled by these quick claims just like everyone else. As more and more studies and research become available to the public, we have learned that Low-fat/no-fat is a Big FAT Crock! All it really means is that instead of the extra fat, they ADD more unhealthy things like more sugar and higher carb content which simply CONVERT INTO FAT when we eat it! They also alter the oils used by putting more unnatural chemicals into our foods.

In fact when we eat foods high in
carbs especially white refined ones (white bread-pasta-rice), our bodies digest them more
quickly. This can lead to blood sugar swings and cravings making it more
difficult to control our overall calorie intake – which means that
second or third ‘low fat’ cookie starts to look very tempting! A diet
too high in these refined carbs and sugars can be as unhealthy as a
high-fat diet because it increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease
and causes high cholesterol levels.

Make sure you’re getting good fats:

Eating more fish and nuts
Removing the skin from poultry and trimming visible fat from other cuts of meat.
Checking labels on food products.
Using good quality un-saturated oils, like walnut or pumpkin, for dipping your bread instead of using spreads.
Avoid frying instead steam, bake, poach or grill.
Replace mayo with plain yogurt – just add a squeeze of lemon juice and some mixed herbs, chives work well. You can also use Greek Yogurt in place of sour cream!

One of my favorite snacks are Granny Smith Apples with 2 Tablespoons of Natural Peanut Butter. Delish and keeps me going when I need something to tide me over.

My almond crusted Halibut with grilled asparagus

Beware of Artificial Sugar!!

Sweetener lesson 101: Avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague. While the mechanisms of harm may differ, they’re all harmful in one way or another. This includes aspartame (NutraSweet, Equal), sucralose (Splenda), saccharin (Sweet’N Low), acesulfame potassium, neotame, and others.

In the beginning of my own journey to healthy living, I was not completely swept up in the SUGAR FREE Craze, but now there’s little doubt in my mind
that artificial sweeteners can be far worse for you than sugar and
fructose, and there is plenty of scientific evidence to back that up!

is perhaps the most dangerous of the bunch. At least it’s one of the
most widely used and has the most reports of adverse effects.
Aspartame has been linked to causing cancer, increasing insulin levels in diabetics as well as many other horrible health problems. Did you know that it actually converts to METHANOL in our bodies?? Do you know that methanol is what is used to make fuel for vehicles?! I do not want that in my body, do you?

I will admit that it has been the most difficult thing for me to cut out of my life, after all its designed to be that way. Highly addictive and very dangerous for you. I try to cut it out all together but occasionally I will find products in which the labeling is not as clear.

Its really better for you to watch your sugar intake on a whole and if you are consuming something with sugar, the real stuff is a better choice.

I think we have learned a little today?? Now for the good stuff! Some of my most requested recipes! I really pride myself in making traditionally UN-healthy food, healthier and not sacrificing great taste.

Healthier version of a Molten Lava Cake

Brianna’s Molten HOT Cakes

Prep time: 20 min. Total time: 2 hours
You’ll need:

3 tbps unsalted butter
2 tbsp canola oil
3 oz high quality dark (bittersweet) chocolate (60-70% cacao) chopped
3 oz whole wheat pastry flour (I like Bobs-approx 2/3 cup)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
Baking spray with flour
powdered sugar (optional)

1.Combine butter, oil, and chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Cook over simmering water until chocolate almost fully melts, stirring gently with a spatula. Remove top of double boiler; stir gently until chocolate fully melts. (you can create your own double boiler by placing 1 pot on top of another that is the same size)

2. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a bowl; stir well with a wisk.

3. Place granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl; beat with mixer on medium until light & fluffy (about 2 min). Set aside 2 tbsp (or a little more) melted chocolate. Gradually pour remaining chocolate in a thin stream over egg mixture-while still beating at medium speed. Then gently fold flour mixture into the egg mixture.

4. Divide batter evenly among 10 5oz ramekins (or you may use a little more in larger ramekins) coated with baking flour spray. Working with 1 ramekin at a time, spoon in 1/4 tsp melted chocolate that you reserved, pushing teaspoon towards the center of the batter. Repeat with the remaining ramekins. Arrange ramekins on a jelly-roll pan. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour (may for a bit longer if desired)

5. Preheat oven to 400.

6. Let ramekins stand at room temp for 15 min. Uncover and bake at 400 for 13 min OR until cakes are puffy and slightly crusty on top (centers will not be set). Place a dessert plate on top of each ramekin and using a dry kitchen towel or oven mitt, invert each cake onto plates. Garnish with powdered sugar if desired. Serve immediately.

Tips for a better & lighter cake;
A traditional lava cake has approx 7-900 calories triple the fat content and while they’re delish, there are better alternatives. My healthy version is NOT something you want to eat every day, this is more of a special treat for you when you are craving something decedent. The whole wheat pastry flour lightens up the batter and creates a crisp outer crust, its a bonus that it adds 1g extra fiber per serving. Cocoa powder allows for intense chocolate flavor without the cocoa butter of whole chocolate. Saves so many cals and fat per oz over regular chocolate.
Remember guys & girls, NOTHING taste
s as good as healthy feels so do what you can to lighten up your tummy, you won’t regret being able to fit comfortably into your clothes!

Island hopping

My last Grecian stop was in Santorini Island. Really a beautiful place. I was even able to meet up with the friends I made in Athens, however we took literally no pics together because we were lookin tore up from all day at the beach lol! Sunscreen & “waterproof” makeup combo OH MY LOL!

Santorini was a very relaxing setting, we visited the Ancient Ruins, slept atop the lava flowing underneath the island and watched the most beautiful sunsets of all.

Haha, the 1 photo I snapped of my girl, more to come when she visits me in Vegas!

The beautiful Village of Oia, LOVED it here

Celebrating the Volcano

Even in 400BC they constructed a toilet!!

Miss my authentic Greek salads

Needless to say, I loved my time in Greece but it was time to say Goodbye! Last stop of the trip before heading home via London was Naples and the Amalfi Coast.

I have been to Amalfi before and was thrilled to be asked back for an appearance. It was an honor and a privilege. This time I stayed in Ravello, which is high above the sea with sprawling villas and amazing food. Its really hard to say no thank you when little Nonna’s are saying “manja, manja”. Came back only 6lbs up which is not too bad lol…hey I have the rest of my life to be fit! Gotta enjoy the good stuff sometimes. Just remember moderation.

I was only in Naples overnight but took an early am tour to see what I was missing. It was SO hot (as Greece was) so I look a little impatient in my pics lol, but it was cool, saw the sites, ate a pizza…kind of depressing how there is graffiti everywhere here! On historical monuments and everything. I wouldn’t come back to Naples but glad I experienced it.

Had a chance to go back to my ALL TIME Favorite restaurant in Ravello, this is the owners son who took pleasure in hand feeding every woman that walked in the doors, when I wanted a pic, he quickly snuck in this pose! Bad boy lol…his mom has her hands full!

A beautiful Duomo in Amalfi City

A huge highlight of my trip was a tour of a lemon grove. These lemons are the size of your head & not only are they super sweet-not sour like ours here, but you can eat the entire thing-rhine included and its SO Delish!
Of course an Amalfi trip is NOT complete without Positano

Homeward bound and after being gone for an entire month, I was SO ready to be in my own bed and see my little Baby boy. He is getting really up there in age, so I have to soak in all of the time that I can with him. It was a great adventure that I am truly grateful to have had at the age that I am.

Speaking of age! Those of you that follow my IG (www.instagram.com/thebriannajordan) know I have been doing a really fun Birthday countdown! Each day gets a little naughtier lol. Just like last year, for anyone that wants to make me smile & feel extra special on my day by sending gifts off of my wishlists will receive a gift back from me! I’m a giver too lol.

Here are some ideas for you to choose from. Can’t believe how fast the time is flying this year!

December 1st is only 18 days away! Crazzzzzy!!!
Amazon All sorts of fun stuff!
Lulu Lemon My FAV sexy workout apparel

And I’m in need of vouchers for my upcoming trip! Hotel Gift Card

Mykonos Island

I am still unsure as to why everyone that I spoke to prior to this trip told me that I would not care for Mykonos and “a girl like me” would like Santorini much better. First things first, I LOOOOOVED Mykonos. I happened to be there during the biggest Gay Pride festival of the year! It was AWESOME! I made a ton of friends that love fashion, shopping & the pool as much as I do-and none of them were trying to sleep with me…it was heaven! LOL!

Every sunset was spectacular, people would pull over just to watch & applaud when it set. Gorgeous!

Its really important to me to love my hotel & I am kind of a picky bitch when it comes to where I rest my head at night lol. MUST be clean, nice, luxurious & have great amenities. I stayed at the Rocabella Mykonos and OMG did they WOW me! From the most amazing customer service, to such a stellar property, I loved everything about it.

Decorated in a beachy Greek Style and very clean!

Greek Hospitality is bar none! They gave me a bottle of wine/champs, snacks etc all complimentary!

While I did have to actually work while I was here, it didn’t feel anything like work at all. I had a blast shooting on the beach & hosting for some really fun clubs while I was there. In my down time, you could find me actually relaxing by the pool-a word (relax) that I had long forgotten about! I took an amazing guided horse tour, they were so sweet…you all know how much of an animal lover I am! I really was sad to leave! But the tour must go on! I am really looking forward to going back one day & not having to work at all…simply to enjoy life.

Can you say traditional Greek Salad-this is not how they make them in America, SO GOOD!
From a fantastic restaurant I found, M-eating, SO good & what presentation!

Pool view from my room balcony WOW!

This gorgeous creature endured the extreme temps, I felt so guilty but fell in love with her.

Don’t mind if I do!

Flying away to another island, Santorini! Where I meet up with one of my other model friends that I met in Athens. Fun times!
*Travel tip, when going to the Greek Islands, its more convenient to fly into Athens 1st and then hop a flight via Aegean Air to the Islands, it will take no more than 30 min to an hour depending on which you choose, there are ferries but they take a very long time & cost just as much or more than flying*

Hope you are all enjoying! More to come next week!

Did you enjoy last weeks HOT Lesbian scene? Animal Attraction with my friend Jelena Jensen…

Well here’s a sneak peek of what’s cumming this Halloween! #OFFICERNAUGHTY

Bet you can’t wait for Halloween now huh?! Lol…. ONLY at http://www.BriannaJordan.com xxoo

Next stop Athens, Greece!

After traveling the Bavarian side of Germany & driving the autobahn (which was a lifelong dream!), I jet set off to Athens Greece. Also another place I had been dying to visit. I always really loved Greek Mythology when I was in school and after all…Greece is where it all started.

I landed in Greece shortly after departed from Munich and it was HOT! Lol, I had no idea that it would be as hot if not hotter than where I live in Las Vegas! I guess I figured that all of Europe was really moderate during the summer since in Germany it was actually cold enough to wear jeans & sweaters! I lucked out & got a really nice driver who I used the rest of the time I was there…he took me to my hotel & when we pulled up to it I thought he was kidding when he said, “this is your hotel” On the other side of the street there was nothing but what looked like abandoned buildings, graffiti & scary looking people. I paused and saw a little man running out to greet me at the car… he was the hotel staff and grabbed my bags & in I went…to an actually very beautiful lobby.

I was at the O&B Boutique Hotel which was a recommendation from the people I would be shooting for in the islands. The room was nice, large bathroom & views of the city. The city was the most populated in one area place with buildings on top of buildings, that I had ever seen! I arrived at night so I didn’t get to do much exploring, but was starving so I asked the front desk where I could go that was safe for me. They said pretty much everywhere was safe (From the way it looked…I highly doubted that) but recommended for me to check out a place not too far from there. It was called Lithos. Had my bodyguard not accompanied me, I would have stayed in the hotel the whole time but when we started walking through the dark ally’s it wasn’t actually that bad. Yes, there was a TON of graffiti everywhere and a few seedy looking dudes but all harmless & didn’t bother us.

The food was SO good! The staff was amazing & I really felt welcomed.
The next day was a tour of the city, the Acroplis which was amazing. Loved it. Zues’s temple, the original Olympic Games Stadium…so much history, I loved it! (Besides being 110 deg & 90% humidity!!!)
View of Athens at night from A for Athens…

The next day before my flight to Mykonos Island I was able to squeeze in a trip to the Athens Museum…with AC.

I loved touring Athens! So glad I stopped since most people said to avoid it. If you love history, you should really make a stop there, all you need is a day & a half 😉 Now off to the islands!!! ……….

German Girl

My next stop on my European tour was Germany! I had never been and was so excited to see the country. I landed in Frankfrurt & drove to visit some distant relatives whom I didn’t know very well near a Village called Bamberg.

It was really late when I arrived so I didn’t see much and basically crashed! Traveling is exhausting 🙂 I woke up to see the house they were so generously hospitable to invite me to stay in and their sprawling back yard with deer frolicking! Germany is very lush & green, which I had no idea of…very beautiful.

So we set off to the main Village of Bamberg. Very cute place, outdoor market where we bought produce for dinner later. We toured around the Village & the castle nearby. Very cool. Later that evening we had a “German BBQ” which was in a little gazebo hut basically and we grilled inside there. Even in August, temps at night dropped into the 50s! I was shocked. It was so fun & really great getting to know them all. Wonderful memories.

The next day, I set off to Rothenburg, Germany. WHAT A GREAT PLACE! I loved it so much, really what I pictured Germany to be. Its known as the Christmas town with beautifully ornate decorations year round, nightly tours by the Nights watchmen and great bed & breakfasts.

I spent a few days here just exploring the history of this place. It was one of the only villages not completely destroyed in the war. Why? There was a US General in charge of taking the Nazi’s over here.  His mother had visited this village & told him stories of how wonderful it was, brought him photos & he never forgot that. When it was time to bomb everything, he made sure this village was spared. There’s a torture museum that was really interesting. They were really very brutal back in the day, for no reason. All from making people wear humiliating head gear which let everyone know they cheated on their wives, were gossiping women etc, all the way to tying people up in the town square and pulled them apart limb from limb etc! Crazy.

I have to say, I really don’t care for German food at all. I don’t eat weird meat, don’t eat sausage etc. but I had the BEST meal here! Its called Rulladen & Spatzel FUCK was it delish!!!
BEST FOOD EVER! Romantik Hotel Restaurant

This is Hotel Herrnschloesschen, the best hotel in the Village, I was really very pleased with it.
I recommend making this Village a stop on your Bavarian tour for sure! Well worth it! Next I drove to the world famous Disney Castle! I have always wanted to see it in person! Neuschwanstein castle was built for King Ludwig.  He died a mysterious & unsolved death just months after moving into the castle! Tragic. Seven weeks after the death of King Ludwig II
in 1886, Neuschwanstein was opened to the public. The shy king had
built the castle in order to withdraw from public life – now vast
numbers of people came to view his private refuge.
You can take a horse carriage ride up to the Castle.
View from inside of the castle, stunning!
No photos were allowed inside :o(
Just a day trip, it was beautiful but compared to the Palace of Versailles….whew-no comparison. After a long day, I drove to my final German stop, Munich.
I am not much of a big city person, so the many people that said Munich was a must-see….for me? I could have lived without it. I actually had a much better time in Salzburg, Austria (a quick 90 min drive south from Munich)

Of course I stopped at Hofbrauhaus, however it was filled with tourists mostly

I did like the escape of the English Gardens…serene

I was SO excited when I saw Salzburg, had anyone mentioned it or if I would have known about it, I would have stayed there instead of Munich & did a day trip to Munich instead of the reverse.
Salzburg is where they filmed The Sound of Music and the birthplace of Mozart. I can appreciate both of those facts but it didn’t do much for me. What impressed me were the AMAZING views atop the Mountain and the sweet Village, great food, people & the total vibe.

Very similar to the views I had in Switzerland

Probst! Had to drink beer on my last day in Bavaria! It was actually not bad! (I don’t drink beer)
Well that concludes my time in Germany, I hope you all enjoy my bringing you back with me lol! You can see full galleries of each city I traveled to on my website, http://www.BriannaJordan.com and of course enjoy all of the other many enticing photos and movies I create for you all to lust after!
Until next time!

Auf Wiedersehen!!!

Telling my secret!

So as many of you know…I was away in Europe for quite a long trip! This year it was both work & pleasure. I am always striving to find balance in my life so that I don’t have a melt down, well my body would give out first lol. So I will this year as I did last, give you an insider’s point of view on each different spot that I toured through….and there were many! I was gone a little over a month in total. Happy to be home but ever grateful for the experiences. As many of you know, I have taken on a part time position with a travel reviewing site…I love to help others exceed their traveling expectations so read on if you’re interested!

Well as usual, I started my Journey in London, such a great city. Fabulous people, shopping, accommodations & I actually found some good food this time. England is NOT known for its amazing food lololol!

I like to start in either London or France & have at least 24-36 hours to adjust before starting to work. Its really a lot easier for me to jump into Europe time than it is coming back home for some reason. This trip begun in London, England.  While I think it crucial to support the local Black taxi services, unless you know someone personally, its best to hire a car transport from the airport to your hotel. You can arrange reasonably prices transfers to almost anywhere in the world through Viator.com However, if your company is not willing to pay for it, you can also take the express tube to your London accommodation. I love taking the tube but for shorter distances and without a ton of luggage! You just have to decide if you want to splurge or if you are on a budget.

I found that even in August, London had a chill in the air and I was really glad I packed jeans and closed toed shoes! Some days were warmer than others but I will say that it was the warmest its been compared to other trips.

In the largest Victoria’s Secret I’ve seen in the world! Heaven :O)

The 1st day was great, I wasn’t too exhausted, a little delirious possibly… I was still able to check out the London Eye, which I highly recommend. Its a great way to see the city, Big Ben, the London Bridge, Parliament, etc. from a different perspective.

My next stop was undoubtedly Harrods, its certainly an experience NOT to be missed. There is everything and anything you could possibly imagine. I went this day for a beautiful afternoon tea, complete with fancies & crumpets! MMMMM

Can you say indulgent?!

After a great night sleep in what I consider one of the worlds best hotels, I began a strenuous work schedule and of course I didn’t miss my workouts!

I was able to enjoy my time in London as well as balance work, I discovered a great little casino-go figure, a girl from Vegas discovering a casino lol! It was very chic and had a great steakhouse called Heliot, I really recommend!

Always great when there’s a discount on wine 😉

I was able to get a little site-seeing in as well, Trafalgar Square among many other spots.

A beautiful city full of history & ornate buildings. I love it here and could really picture myself living here, don’t worry, not anytime in this life ;o) Too cold in the winters but I do love its charm.

While traveling abroad, do make this part of your journey…you will not regret it! Next stop Germany! Stay tuned for more!!!
